Welcome to Hams 2 Oshkosh!
Hello! Welcome to the all new Hams 2 Oshkosh website, we’re glad you’re here. We look forward to organizing our third Hams 2 Oshkosh gathering in July of 2026 at EAA AirVenture.
This whole effort started as an ad-hoc, word of mouth effort from local and visiting hams in 2024 to have a gathering by hams, for hams. Now, going forward, we want to spread the word to as many visiting hams (and non-hams) as possible to engage the amateur radio and aviation community, together.
This “grassroots” effort is being led by Steven, KO4GPU, and Mark, WY9M, and is an effort to try and unite the amateur radio community.
At Oshkosh, we actively monitor 146.52 simplex, and it’s a great way to talk to fellow hams and form community. That’s how this effort came to be.
We look forward to seeing you all in Oshkosh this July! A specific date, time, and location is still being worked out. We request and welcome feedback about when you think is best! If you plan on coming to AirVenture, let us know! We’d love to see you and have you join in with the fun.
